Embark on an adventure with a Discover Scuba Dive Experience at Eden Rock, one of the most impressive shallow dives on Grand Cayman. First, your experienced instructor will give an extended introduction on diving safety, equipment and hand signals. Followed by kitting up and entering the water with time to get used to breathing underwater and master some basic safety drills. Then it is a short swim to the reef for a guided dive during which you'll get up close with local fish and corals. Available times are 9:00am, 11:00am and 2:00pm, and the course will take about 3 hour. You will be diving in small groups of maximum 4 people.

Introductory Experience - Discover SCUBA Diving A quick and easy introduction that allows you to explore the underwater world before committing to the scuba certification course. This 'try' dive let's you try SCUBA diving with one of our highly trained instructors right off the shore in front of the resort. ​Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you are not quite ready for the certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. We offer this program in the resort pool first, followed by a shallow guided dive on the house reef. You must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.

The Discover Scuba Diving Course takes one day and includes a brief theoretical course (all you need to know before your first dive), a practical course (basic skills to practice in a pool or in shallow water) and 2 dives for beginner (max 12 meters depth) in the Ocean with your diving instructor. In the scoop of a Discover Scuba Diving Course, we do the dives in Padang Bai or Tulamben, in calm water, very convenient for beginners. Tulamben is shore diving, we dive there directly from the beach, on the beautiful Coral Garden and the famous Liberty Wreck dive's site (a must-do in Bali!). Tulamben is 2:00 drive from Sanur but it's a beautiful road, with Ocean View almost all the way, Ricefields and Volcano at the end. The water is usually calm, and the sand is black (volcanic). The Liberty Wreck is a ship of 120 meters long covered of life, and one of the most reputed dive site in Bali. The sea life there is incredibly rich. On the way back from Tulamben Nico Dives Cool would be happy to offer you the visit of the beautiful Waterpalace of Tirtagangga. Tirta Gangga - means 'water of the Ganges'. This sacred water palace was built in the early twentieth century by the last king of Karangasem. It boasts many decorative ponds and fountains, lush plant life and natural bathing pools. We especially like this place for her soothing atmosphere. We dive in Padang Bai from a jukung, a small fisherman boat in wood, on the beautiful Blue Lagoon (one of the bluest water of Bali) and the Jepun (little wreck). About the marine life : hundreds of species, both large and small, can be observed in most of the spots: Oriental sweet lips, moray eels, many species of clownfish and anemone fish, napoleon wrasses, trevallies, jackfish, dogtooth tunas, king mackerels, crocodile fish, lionfish, octopus, pharaoh cuttlefish and green turtles, just name it! You will enjoy a large variety of hard and soft corals and various types of gorgonians. On the way back from Padang Bai, Nico Dives Cool would be happy to offer you a visit of the Goa Lawah Temple.
