PADIEmergency First Response Instructor
Deepblu ID: QS7860
I completed my open water course in November 2011 at Capernwray then went on to complete my advanced open water course in February 2012 at Oban. I continued my diving education completing various specialities then decided to enrol in the Divemaster course and subsequently enrolled in the Open Water Scuba Instructor course, which I completed in May 2014 on Malta. I achieved Master Scuba Diver Trainer a year later in May 2015, IDC Staff Instructor in April 2016 and Master Instructor in January 2020. In August 2020, I completed a NAUI Instructor crossover training course which qualified me as a NAUI Instructor as well. I have taught over 350 students on various courses ranging from Bubble maker to Divemaster and many specialities along the way. I'm happy to say that I'm friends with many of my former students and we regularly go diving. I have assisted in the teaching of numerous Assistant Instructors and Instructors and am extremely proud to have been part of the journey from Open water to Instructor for a few of my former students. I'm qualified to teach numerous PADI and NAUI specialities including Adaptive Techniques, Aware Coral Reef, Deep, Delayed Surface Marker Buoy, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Enriched Air, Equipment Specialist, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project Aware, RNLI Sea Survival, Search & Recovery, Underwater Navigator and Wreck. My favourite courses to teach are the underwater navigator course and the search & recovery course. I'm a Emergency First Response First Aid at Work Instructor Trainer which qualifies me to teach Emergency First Response and First Aid at Work courses as well as train others to become Instructors in those aspects of Emergency First Response. My favourite dive locations are varied ranging from the Maldives to Egypt to Malta as well as the UK. I look to get away on a diving break as often as possible, even if it's for just a long weekend somewhere in the UK.
