Florida's stunning freshwater springs are fed by an underground aquifer that stretches beyond the state of Florida itself. Beneath this prehistoric aquifer is a saltwater lens, which due to reduced ground water levels (from over-use and drought) is slowly making its way up into the freshwater supply. It is up to us to take those small, necessary steps in our daily lives to help preserve what nature has created long before our arrival.
