I use quick disconnect adaptors from scubapro for my Ocean Reef IDM and Apeks ATX200 regulator in order to make switching easy. Stoppers on male part of adaptors rusting very fast and obviously aren't made of stainless steel, however even without stoppers they function as intended, I only wonder if it is safe and what is the actual purpose of those.
