We are in Beqa Lagoon Resort for a week of shark diving and today was" check out" dives in the lagoon in front of the resort. I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the reef, and found loads of critters to practice my photography on. Was very shallow, (max depth only 6.5mtrs). A group of disc anenomes (balloon corallimorph) was cool, hadnt seen that before, a juvenile zebra lionfish (about 15cm body length at a guess), glass anenome shrimps, squat anenome shrimps, of course Nemo - but captured photo with his tiny teeth showing so pretty stoked with that, plus all the usual suspects. While we are here for the thrilling shark dives at the cathedral (coming back for a second time - I did this for a week back in June and it was so good I came back), I really enjoyed the cruisyness and chillaxin dive in the lagoon.
