Lembeh Resort House Reef, Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Indonesia
August 18, 2017 | 15:19
The house reef at Lembeh Resort has several coral restoration projects. The reef balls are located deep around 20m and have lots of interesting fluorescent corals. I would recommend bringing a UV light on this dive even during the day. As you head to the shallow part of the reef there are inactive bio-rock structures covered in sponges. The newest restoration method used by the resort in piles of lava rock which are proving to be the most effective solution.
