The sea ANEMONE gets its name after the terrestrial anemone flower. Although sea anemones are mostly poisonous only to their prey, some species are known to be highly toxic to humans. It is estimated that there are more than 1,000 species found all over the world at varying depths in the oceans but most of them prefer the warmer tropical waters.
