This is one of my favourite dive sites as I don't get to visit it very often as around the other side of the island but every time I visit I also enjoy it. In previous dives I have been able to see turtles, giant puffers, barracuda, bumphead parrotfish and unicorn fish to name a few. This dive site also has a large section of artificial reef that consists of many blocks stacked on top of one another to form a square structure. You can swim around, through and down them to explore. Marine life has started to grow around the structure including urchins and parrotfish can be spotted picking for food. On this dive we also saw lots and lots of butterfly fish swimming together. I thought these guys only travelled in twos? I felt like I had stumbled across some kind of butterfly social convention. #divesite #laemthian #thailand #barracuda #butterflyfish #kohtao
