I was first one in today and dropped down to a “Y” canyon to the wall, and into the southern most canyon. No lionfish spear today, I hand my camera and in one of the ledges was a HUGE Lionfish, 14 inches long. Under my breath I cursed myself for not bringing the spear. I then dropped to the ledge below that one to find two medium lionfish. Mitch, the DM came down and I pointed them out to him. We then followed the canyon out to the wall and found a fourth Lionfish in the open just swimming over a rock. The rest of the dive was nice with lots of canyons, some large others narrow, looked fun to explore. Towards end of the dive I came up to 40 fsw and it had surge. The six foot rollers above against the flat deep wall probably caused this. We worked our way further north and up for the safety stop.
