Hermit Crabs often have growths of algae or other organisms on their shells and also have symbiotic relationships with anemones. Anemones attach to their shells and both organisms benefit. The anemone stings potencial predators and helps hermits crabs blend in. The anemone benefits by eating the leftovers of the crab’s meal.
