This was a classic 'el Cabrón' dive. You just need to take your time and a bit of care getting in and out but then underwater you are rewarded by big shoals of fish, colourful fish such as damselfish, parrotfish, wrasse, and if you look in between the rocks you can see nudibranch, scorpion fish, arrowhead crabs and yellow sponges. We started out and headed towards the 'roncadors' and saw several moray eels along the swim, when we got to the swim we found bogas, barracudas, groupers, and more morays. One of these is probably the biggest in Arinaga, and lives in a deep hole, but sticks his head out from time to time. The red and yellow corals were looking healthy and after spotting a large ray we came across a baby hiding in a shallow depression. A couple of nudibranchs and a big school of barracudas rounded off a nice dive! Thanks to Eduardo Vera of for leading the dive.
