Small, sandy, local’s beach with lots of fishing boats and lots of character. A huge, beautiful, lively, healthy reef filled with lots of macro and huge variety of corals and marine life. Excellent night dive spot also. As a Project AWARE Adopted Dive Site (ADS#88), we clear up trash on just about every dive we make and run regular dedicated Clean Up dives. Feel free to join in! Car Pile starts at approx 45 ft / 13m and gets increasingly interesting the deeper you go so watch your depth! Explore the shallow reef on your way back for a super-long and very pretty safety “go”. Other Curacao dive operators from miles around bring divers to enjoy Pierbaai Reef and Car Pile. But The Dive Bus divers and snorkelers need only cross the road.

2 Dive Sites... 1 Dive! Pierbaai, a beautiful coral reef coupled by a wreck dive at the Car Pile!! Car Pile sits in the middle of these 2 dive sites, and is possibly the most unusual traffic jam you are ever likely to see. Cars and trucks dating back to the 1940s are piled on the wall, and are hugely popular with larger pelagic fish and home to a large variety of sponges. Car Pile starts at approximately 45 feet, a barge rests at 100 feet and the cars and trucks continue considerably deeper.

Florescent night dive! Used UV lights and special visors for masks. Saw lots of glowing brain coral, star coral, and anemones. Sea horse too but I forgot my contacts so I couldn't see him! :-( Big moray at the end! :-)
