Scuba Diving in Indonesia
Description
The Advanced Open Water Course takes two days and include 5 Adventures Dives.
Usually our instructor would recommend to do peak performance buoyancy which is a must to improve your buoyancy underwater and deep diving (that will allow you to dive until 30 meters depth) and to choose between the Adventure Dives below the 3 that you might prefer:
- Wreck Adventure Dive
- Compass Navigation
- Night Dive
- Photography
- Fish Identification
- Nitrox 32
- Drift dive
If you choose PADI you must do the Navigation dive where as with SSI you can choose the Adventure Dive that correspond the best to you.
Usually we do three dives in Padang Bai and 2 dives in Tulamben the next day.
But if you want to do the night dive, we would do first two dives in Padang Bai and then 3 dives including one night dive in Tulamben the following day if you want to do the night dive on the Liberty Wreck.
The way we structure our course actually depend on the Adventures Dives you are interested in.
For instance, the Wreck dive can be done in Tulamben only, whereas the drift dive can be done in Nusa Penida only.

USS Liberty Wreck
Depth 50 m · Visibility <5.0 m
Tulamben is shore diving, we dive there directly from the beach, on the beautiful Coral Garden, the Drop Off and the famous Liberty Wreck dive's site (a must-do in Bali!).
The Liberty Wreck is indeed an amazing dive site and very convenient for all level of divers.
We dive in, through and around this 120 meters long wreck covered of life, discovering new landscape each time we change direction. It's a great experience ;)
Tulamben is 2:00 drive from Sanur but it's a beautiful road, with Ocean View almost all the way, Rice-fields and Volcano at the end. The water is usually calm, and the sand is black (volcanic). The sea life is incredibly rich.
