Description
Das Orientierungstauchen (OT) ist komplex und verlangt vom Taucher technisches Verständnis, als auch koordinative und konditionelle Fähigkeiten. Die Ausübung findet generell nur im Freigewässer in ca. zwei Metern Tiefe statt. Ziel des OT ist es, möglichst schnell und präzise Orientierungspunkte in einer vorher bestimmten Reihenfolge unter Wasser zu umrunden bzw. anzutauchen.
Navigation Diving is complex and requires the diver to have technical understanding, as well coordinative & conditional abilities. The exercise generally takes place in the open waters at about two meters depth. The aim of this sport is to circulate as quickly and precisely as possible to points of orientation in a predetermined sequence underwater.
