• Die "International Diving Association" - IDA wurde im Juni 1996 aus der Idee heraus gegründet, die Professionalität vieler amerikanischer Verbände und die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Tauchsport mit den hohen Ausbildungsstandards des Tauchsportweltverbands CMAS zu vereinen.
Aktuelle Entwicklungen und Erkenntnisse fließen direkt in die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Tauchern und Tauchlehrern ein, so dass alle IDA-Tauchlehrer weltweit für eine fortschrittliche und sichere Tauchausbildung sorgen.
Dieser hohe Ausbildungsstand und die gemeinsame Freude am „nassen Element“ garantieren den optimalen Einstieg in die IDA-Tauchwelt. Weltweit tätige Partnerverbände bieten unseren Tauchern und Tauchlehrern alle Möglichkeiten zur Aus- und Weiterbildung:
