Hi everyone, I’m getting my advanced junior open water in a couple of weeks and I’ve downloaded Deepblu to start logging my dives as every time I’ve dived I forgot to take my log. Is there much need for me to get a dive computer and if there is which is best affordable one that is compatible with this app?... More

I have to say that this trip to Anthony's Key resort is one of the top trips we have been on. I have been on many trips through out the Caribbean and some in the Pacific Ocean. You do 3 boat dives everyday if you choose. and you get 2 boat night days. They also have shore diving. Everyone is extremely nice and try to make your stay a very good experiance. They even have their very own medical facility on site open 24 / 7, complete with lab, x-ray, pharm, and hypobaric chamber. The clinic also is open to the local people. Once here they assign you a boat and crew. They have about 6-7 boats a day going out and all the boats go to different places so they don't crown a spot. The Reefs are in very good shape with plenty of color and wildlife of all types. They have some big animals as well as the smallest of critters so everyone gets something. On Tuesday we did 2 boat dives and after the second dive we went to a small Key and had a lunch out. After the lunch we went out to do a 3rd dive. Tonight we are having a Fiesta with live music, buffet, dance ,limbo and hermit crab competitions. And we still have 2 1/2have days left to go. They have Dolphin encounters, spas, swimming pools, Kayaking and paddle boards along with snorkeling for the non divers. So even though we are not done yet, I highly recommend Anthony's Key Resort.... More

5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TOUCH CORALS (5 Pictures&Notice👇) 1. Coral are composed of thousands of tiny animals called polyps are very sensitive to touch, foreign substance, temperature, and other disturbances. Touching can easily harm or kill them. 2. Most coral skeleton are brittle and fragile. Touching might break them and it will take a very long time for them to grow back. 3. Touching corals can contaminate them with unwanted bacteria from humans that may cause diseases such as the white band and black band disease. 4. Some corals can sting your skin. They have very small injection-like cells that can cause skin irritation or allergy. 5. Corals don’t need to be touched. Let’s just enjoy and appreciate their beauty by looking at them.
