Is anyone familiar with a chemical heating option to keep a diver warmer? I'd love to hear about something like the heat packs one can use for hand warming for skiing, etc. Sure wish I could tuck a couple of them under my wetsuit to stay warmer for every dive! And I'd love to avoid paying a bunch for a solution...

Does layering wet suits work to keep you warmer? I have a 4/5 wet suit and I am considering adding a long sleeve, 3mm shorty on top of it for colder water temps. Good idea?... More
Here we use 7mm wetsuit with a 7mm tunic over (or a 7mm Jane/John with a long sleeve shortie) when we dive in the summer. (Dry suits for winter diving, if that’s your thing). I also wear a rash guard or stinger suit underneath. ... More

Anyone ever experience bruising from diving? I received several bruises like from squeeze to the underneath sides of my breasts while making a 100 ft dive off Grand Cayman at Northwest Point. Not sure if it could have been caused from cruising the drop off with my arms crossed over my chest.
